Follow the M4 to Junction 45 and take the A4067 Swansea to Brecon
road. At the roundabout (consisting of 5 Birch Trees) south of
Ystradgynlais, just past the sign for Powys and with the All Black Arms on
your right, carry straight on for Brecon and then take the next left by LBS
Building Supplies (approx. 50 yds), for Gurnos and Cwmphil.
*Carry on up the hill and on up the brow of the hill turn right into Palleg
Road signposted to the golf club. Carry on up the hill passing the golf club
on the left. Just after the golf club take the first turning on the right down
an unmarked road. Follow the road around the left hand bend. Continue
on this road for approx. 1.5 miles, keeping right, passing Henglyn farm on
your right and then Pensarn farm on your left. Continue for
approximately half a mile and Pen yr Heol is the next property on the left.
(Pen Yr Heol is approx. 2 miles after LBS building supplies).
From Brecon, take the A40 to Sennybridge. Take a left turn onto the
A4067 to Ystradgynlais. Go through Ystradgynlais for approximately 1.5
miles and turn right up Cwmphil Road before you reach the roundabout.
Then follow as above.
